About Us

 Aloha and thank you for joining our family of coffee lovers.

Just as coffee originated in Ethiopia, so did my youngest daughter. When I shared with her that we were going to farm coffee, she exclaimed, “Buna!” (the Amharic word for coffee), and our label was born. 

We take pride in our small, family-owned farm and in our malama ‘aina methods, favoring environmentally friendly farm practices and products, preserving the land and our waters. 

We walk our farm every day to monitor our trees and to pick only the red, ripe coffee cherries for each roast. We visit with the Jackson chameleons that call our trees home and take in the ocean breeze that keeps our trees growing in a perfect climate. 

Our volcanic soil, year-round sunshine and ocean breeze all work together to bring you our 100% Kona coffee.
